Grow Slow Nursery, Farm Shop & The Pack Horse Cafe

My boyfriend and I have come to the local area for a couple of days as today is his birthday- this wonderful shop offered lots of beautiful and unusual wonders to view and buy. We had lunch in the cafe.. we had soup of the day, woodland oyster mushrooms with spinach on sourdough toast, tostada con tomate, mocha walnut cake, Victoria sponge- and shared the lot- it was fresh delicious and I would definitely come back again! There were lots of choices for hot and cold drinks too. Service was second to none.

Exceptional place. Loved the vibe and all the interesting pots/plants to buy. Food was excellent, came out fast, fresh and very flavoursome. Good coffee. Staff friendly and welcoming. Perfect little bits to keep kids entertained as well. Only sorry we don't live nearer!

Tasty vegan vegetarian food and good coffee served amongst lovely eclectic nursery and vintage shop setting. Parking for towing vehicles is limited but a great stop off on route. Will be back.

Really good food. Quirky little place for vegetarians and vegans. I had the wild mushrooms and my wife the vegan tuna both equally delicious and used fresh ingredients. Definitely go again when we go back to Bridport.

Having driven pass this unassuming high walled building on numerous occasions, today we decided to see what was behind the wall, see what it was all about And WOW we were not disappointed The Grow Slow Nursery offer a varied selection of the usual and not so usual plants and garden ornaments The shop offered a small selection of local produces Old vintage items, vintage clothing and some amazing arts and crafts The shop leads to a large barn covered outside seating area First thought was, WOW what a great place to hold a private function The Pack Horse Cafe is very laid back, tranquil and relaxing, with and amazing vibe. And although we didn't partake in the vegan and vegetarian friendly breakfast and lunch menu, we did however partake in a slice of homemade Plum and Ginger Cake, delicious. Great Nursery, Great Shop, Great Licensed Cafe, Great Venue, Great Vibes

Very interesting experience. Great vegan options although V means vegan and VG means vegetarian on their menu.

Nice food and great menu. The service was rather slow considering the café was pretty quiet. One of my family members had their order come out wrong but we were given compensation in the form of a free drink. The café was a bit cramped but not the end of the world. Would recommend as a place for relatively cheap vegan food.

So good we came back again. Very tasty vegan/vegetarian food. Incredible vegan sausages, very relaxed set up and a nice reclamation shop attached. Would recommend to anyone who wants some tasty food
